Behavioral Health Intervention Services

Behavioral Health Intervention Services

BHIS, formerly known as Remedial Services, are skill-based interventions for children and youth that focus on reducing behavioral health challenges by teaching skills such as conflict resolution, problem solving, coping, impulse control, and relationship building. These services are provided in an individual, family and/or group setting. Sessions will be provided on a regular and consistent basis while working on goals that were set by you and the Community Based Specialist.

Improve Behaviors

Your child may benefit from services if they display any of the following behaviors: poor listening and communication, verbal or physical aggression, disrespectful behaviors, depression, anxiety, unable to pay attention, and a lack of friends or meaningful relationships.

Who is eligible?

Any child or adolescent who has Title XIX and has a behavioral health diagnosis such as ADHD, oppositional defiant, conduct or attachment disorders. If your child is not Title XIX insured, other payment options may be available.
