Experience
Earlene is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner specializing in psychiatry. She is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and appreciates the importance of standard western psychiatry and prescribed medications but, additionally focuses on researching underlying conditions that may be attributing to symptoms associated with depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, etc.
While working on her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Earlene was given the opportunity to work as a Registered Nurse on an acute crisis stabilization unit that served an adolesent and adult population. This position gave her the direction to continue her education and attain her Masters of Nursing as an ARNP/PMHNP. The autonomy with this position gave her a mission to assist, motivate and empower clients through evidence-based, integrative brain health care through medication management, and coordination with the client and other professionals on a journey to help each client with an authentically inspired life. This collaborative approach allows each client to play an active role in reshaping their future which helps strengthen the client’s commitment to a healthier, happier quality of life. Earlene is mindful and committed to treating the whole person, not just a diagnosis. The ideal client finds the importance of these treatments and understands their brain health as a journey that together with the team approach is achievable.

"Look at your life. Look at the ways in which you define who you are and what you’re capable of achieving. Look at your goals. Look at the pressures applied by the people around you and the culture in which you were raised. Look again. And again. Keep looking until you realize, within your own experience, that you’re so much more than whom you believe you are. Keep looking until you discover the wondrous heart, the marvelous mind, which is the very basis of your being." ~Tsoknyi Rinpoche~
