Internship Opportunities

Seasons Center provides a safe space for students to embrace the learning process and foster growth within the mental health field.

Bachelor level internships allow students to broaden their knowledge and understanding of mental health/social work. Students are empowered to fully embrace this opportunity of growth through observations, indirect and direct care, and experiencing the diversity of services provided within community mental health.

Master level internships allow students to build a solid foundation of knowledge within the mental health/social work field, develop strong counseling skills, conduct clinical assessments and tools to understand mental health needs and diagnoses, develop treatment and safety plans, complete clinical documentation, confidently diagnose, and strengthen knowledge and practice of evidenced based modalities and interventions to best serve clients.

PMHNP internships allow students to expand their knowledge of outpatient therapy, medication management, evidenced based modalities and interventions, and establishing a plan that best meets clients therapeutic and medication needs.

Intern Testimonials

Bachelor Level Internship:

“Internship was fun, enjoyable, and memorable. Throughout my experience at Camp Autumn, I learned how to effectively manage emotion and behaviors of kiddos with mental health needs while providing them space to have fun, meet new friends and enjoy the many activities provided throughout the summer. Camp provided me the opportunity to learn the true struggle many have and understand how important my role as a counselor is in the lives of others. Embracing laughter, learning how to communicate thoughts and feelings, managing behavior, strengthening social skills, and assisting others in learning how to control symptoms of their mental health was rewarding. Knowing that I could make a difference in someone’s life was impactful. This internship opportunity also allowed me to help others recognize their worth and abilities, guide them in overcoming struggles, and expand my knowledge of mental health.”

Master Level Internship:

“Seasons Center provides a progressive learning opportunity that starts with observations in practicum and builds confidence until you are ready to have your own clients during internship. Working alongside other professionals with many specialties provides interns so many chances to grow. I am grateful for the constant supervision and feedback, the wide variety of therapists and clients, and the clear expectations given to interns.” ~ Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern
