Trauma Therapy Services
Hope, Enable, And Learn
The HEAL (Hope, Enable, and Learn) program, funded by a VOCA (Victims of Crime Act) grant, is designed to meet the unique needs of individuals, families, and communities who have been a victim of a crime.
Through HEAL, individuals who have been a victim of a crime will have the opportunity to meet with a Trauma Therapist to assist them in recovering from their trauma. Trauma Therapists will work with these individuals, providing specialized individual and group therapy, assisting with applications for financial victim assistance, and providing referrals to other agencies and programs. Crimes can include, but are not limited to, physical abuse, sexual abuse, burglary, being a witness to violence, or homicide.
If you have been a victim of a crime, either recently or in the past, or have been impacted in some way by a crime committed against a loved one or someone close to you, and you would like to speak with a Trauma Therapist, please contact Seasons Center at 800-242-5101. Insurance will not be billed for this program.
At Seasons, we commit to instilling hope in those we care for, enabling people to resolve their traumatic experience(s), and guiding victims to learn about community resources to aid in their healing.
This project is funded under an agreement with the State of Iowa.
