Toby, our therapy dog, was donated by Toby and Sylvia Shine and Eva Shine of Shine Brothers Corp. Seasons staff were so appreciative, they chose to name him "Toby" in honor of the gift. Toby received basic obedience training locally and when he was one year old, received further obedience and K9 training. Toby is trained to sit, shake, stay, and lay down. His favorite game is fetch and he loves to go running in the open fields. Toby especially loves spending time with children at Autumn's Center.

She worked as a nurse in a nursing home, was clinic manager at Planned Parenthood and was a clinic nurse in Spirit Lake, IA. At Jackson Recovery, Mandy worked with adolescents that were in outpatient drug and alcohol counseling. Then, Mandy spent almost 9 years as Director of Counseling Services at Buena Vista University. After spending time as an In-School Therapist for the Sioux City School District, Mandy missed living in the Storm Lake area and decided to return.

Experience Robin Kopelman MD, MPH is a one of the leading experts in the state of Iowa in the field of Women’s and Maternal Mental Health. She was the founding psychiatrist and Co-Director for the Women’s Wellness and Counseling at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics and provided care to women in eastern Iowa for over a decade. During that time, Dr. Kopelman conducted extensive research in the development of community-oriented maternal mental health and family mental health services, including research on postpartum depression on partners, perinatal depression screening, and attitudes toward treatment of perinatal depression in Title V maternal health clinics. Dr. Kopelman has also worked extensively with the Iowa Department of Public Health Bureau of Maternal, Child & Family Health on public health programs to improve services for mothers and children throughout the state of Iowa. About Lynn Lynn was born and raised primarily in Nebraska. She finished public school in northwest Iowa and has resided here since. Lynn is the mother of two boys. She enjoys arts and tries to put her creativity to use in various forms, including: theater, photography, yarn, and upcycled projects. Lynn donates her time to student organizations, including music and FFA.

She began her career in Waverly, Iowa as a Sexual Assault Advocate, working with individuals while also providing education in the schools and community. Lindsay moved back home to Northwest Iowa and took a Victim Witness Coordinator position at the Sioux County Attorney's Office. She has had 2 other employers since then, all working with victims of crime.

She owned and operated a private practice for 7 years, The Mustard Seed, which primarily served children adjudicated Child In Need of Assistance, in their homes within a 5-county area. Sandy has worked as an outpatient therapist for Catholic Charities in the Spencer and Algona offices, and is happy to return to Seasons Center. About Anne Anne was born and raised in Spencer, IA. She was away for 9 years gaining school and work experience, but returned to Northwest Iowa in the Fall of 2016 to be closer to her family. Experience Jan graduated from the University of Idaho with a BS in Psychology. Following graduation she worked in Seattle in a community health clinic that served homeless, transient and migrant populations. She then spent eleven years overseas in Micronesia, first working as a Peace Corps volunteer, then with the Ministry of Health in their Public Health and Preventive Services. She worked with a number of United Nations agencies as well as U.S. Public Health Services during this time. Upon return to the United States and to Iowa, Jan worked with a domestic abuse and sexual assault program, serving both adult and child victims of domestic and sexual abuse. She changed focus and began working in the substance abuse treatment field in 2007, first working for three years in outpatient treatment services in Storm Lake. Jan then transitioned working in a residential treatment facility and specializing in women’s issues related to substance abuse and trauma. In early 2014, Jan began working with Seasons Center providing outpatient substance abuse treatment services in Storm Lake.

Experience Dr. Natalie Sandbulte, is a licensed clinical psychologist and health service provider in the state of Iowa. She has 10 years of clinical experience, with expertise in psychological testing and assessment. Dr. Sandbulte has worked in community mental health clinics, college counseling centers, and was a faculty member in the psychology department at Dordt College for 6 ½ years.

Previously, Shante has worked as a therapist and in-home skills provider for clients of all ages who experience anxiety and depressive symptoms, phase of life issues, and/or negative behaviors. Shante has provided therapy in the schools, co-facilitated the adolescent DBT Group, and currently facilitates the adult DBT group in Spencer. Along with DBT, Shante utilizes EMDR, CBT, and TF-CBT therapy techniques.
